Hey I have a very similar problem but a different sound card while running Lucid Puppy. I run the wizard get good sound, when I reboot sound has gone away again. Oh I get good sound on initial boot of Puppy Linux CD, once I do a save, then the sound is gone until I run wizard again, but lost at boot...

I have a similar problem with sound. . . When first installing from CD sound works do complete install to Hard disk or re-running from CD sound has go away. I run the wizard sound is back, reboot sound is gone again.

Seems some file is not being saved or not being read at boot up.
Any clues?
