the asus 4g either linux or xp version should work fine with puppy , I have 4 versions running from sd cards . on first boot you do have to configure wireless for your network . as raffy said make sure wireless is on when you shut xp down before you boot puppy . pupeee already has the right driver ,...

on the first boot you have to kill x with ctrl+alt+bkspc and restart it with xwin enlightenment_start to get enlightenment going.

@prit1 I seem to have blundered my way into solving the corrupted pupsave problem see http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 800#212800 for details . also modprobing i915 is now letting me start xorg and I applied the above mentioned fix for the oversize wbar .

update I made another try using fat16 format on the sd card and syslinux to boot . the pupsave file seems to have been corrupting because I was not waiting long enough to give up and hit the power button! I was waiting about 5 minutes! this time I just let it sit about 1/2 hour and finaly a blank bo...

thanks for the tip on the touchpad . I already have pupeee running on the eee also teenpup . I wanted to see what I coud do with dingo and or macpup.The save problem may have to do with the sd card being fat16 but that is the only way I have gotten dingo to boot from the sd so far . it saves back to...

I'm trying to get dingo or mackpup working on my eeepc 4g with 2gb ram . I am installing them by booting from an external cd/dvd drive and using puppy universal installer to install to a 2gb sd card formated fat16 and using syslinux to boot. ok I tried dingo and here are the results . sd card formated to fat16 , installed with puppy universal installer and used syslinux to boot . boots ok had to select xvesa as stated above but this time with straight dingo modprobing i915 and running the xorg wizard gets me into an xorg destop however ...

wireless for the eeepc
I am trying to build the wireless driver for the eeepc so I can run teenpup2008 on it with wireless access .
