I think I see now. I will have to put the DDog iso on a USB stick then as I'm running this in a VB on my Mac.
I will give this a shot as NOTHING likes to boot on a Mac, even from a USB drive.

Women and now TV dogs... what next?! :D For the moment I can tell, that Openshot Video Editor seems to work in L. A. S. S. I. E., if the DEVX is loaded to the OS (it needs the Python). do the world a favour and make a python sfs... 150mb of sfs for a 7 mb interpretor just seems ...welll .... wrong ...

I don't know ice but there should be an XML file in there some where that you will have to hand edit but this could be left for the builder to do but might want to document where it is located. Porteus-Wheezy2-deb-kern-3.12.iso with kernel 3.12-0.bpo.1-486 from debian-backports (iso size is 139MB) . WOW... I didn't create a changes save file but portdeb saves changes anyway to debian/changes folder on the boot partition (casper-rw). How does that work? Is that a Porteus inherited feature?...

We still look for proper solution to make option for user account to reboot and shutdown and this is involved with using separate script for the start menu button...
