The 8-bit uzebox GPLv.3 video game console

I have asked computer people I know about the console and my idea. They told me there is NO such a thing but manufactures may be willing to design a cheap 32 bit intel version ONLY if I order them like thousands of pieces. With cash up front, they might consider..... Ah.... I forgot this is a mass ...

Brought to you by Loot News Network We horde it for you! This is the bit :) I think mite be of interest be cause we do put a large amount data in memory and then manipulate it. While memory errors can cause serious problems, they're a lot less serious for PCs than for servers, Glaskowsky said. That...

Aitch is right most MBs won`t use ECC, and because it doesn`t sell in mass it`s expensive.
But if they manufactured only ECC type memory...

ECC is not usable in most desktop/laptop mobo's though, Paul Only Server boards seem to have that wisdom applied - in bios, I believe However it does slow the memory down AFAIK So, no quick fix then....? I must admit to having progressed to both DDR & DDR2 ram and haven't noticed anything worse...

Error rates in ram are not due to flaky cells, but to things like cosmic rays and alpha particle emissions. The memory cells are so small, and hold so little electric charge, that it takes little to make them flip state. But they are not defective. ECC memory is the answer. No, you don't need 2 cop...

Thats a great idea

puppyiso: Based on sbc, add a cheap 32bit cpu, minimum RAM like 64MB and 8 to 16GB USB or SD card, I get a fully working 32bit COMPUTER. It might cost 100 yuan in my wild guess. It's not only doable it's been done. Check this bad boy out!  Official: http://openpandora.org/index.php ...
