I generally consider lynx more secure since it doesn't automatically accept cookies like elinks and also cannot view pictures where elinks can also. If you use Gmail, Hotmail, etc, they know what you write in your email and IMs. Yeah, but people use email to talk to at least one other person. That's different from uploading all of your files, including the ones you don't wish to share, to a stranger.... even a stranger who gives the impression ...
