I've found out how to modify the cursor blinking in time FireFox , (that was my main problem).

Create the term ... in "about:config" ...

IMO cursor is not blinking fast enough: I have to wait too long for it to appear.
Partially this is the stopped-clock illusion, but speeding-up the cursor blink-rate,
(and/or changing the duty cycle), would speed-up text navigation.

A no-blink cursor would be another option worth trying.
