Dan, have you tried ISpup Q120? It appears to be a close match. It takes a little more effort on load-up than 525 on my machines. For some reason it saves the network settings and internet stuff better than the 525. Double click is the default on start up, the file manager is a delight and the searc...

This You tube video was helpful for the double click issue. http://helpmerick.com/how-to-set-puppy-linux-to-double-click-instead-of-single-click.htm Note this user uses puppy to troubleshoot windows. Windows is all they utilize at work, so I have to keep one foot in that world. Over 20 years, I have...

Great Scot!!!! Dewbie that hits pretty close to the mark. So far puppy has been my favorite distro, still taking some time learning the console. Keep finding myself typing DOS commands. Its irritating not having my A: C: D: prompt. Still it would be good to have a XPpup to make the cross over easier...

yeah that 24 hour clock was a odd choice for default. I would like to see the dillo browser defaults a bit more in the fashion of the rest of the package also. not being critical, just sayin The MENU button was a nice change in the new version, although blue was an odd color, I would have thought gr...

ROBLOX .pet
This may sound silly, but: Would it be a difficult task to produce a wine based pet that could run ROBLOX? Maybe even a ROBLOX puppy derivative. Its a pig of a program I know, but the son loves it more than candy. At any given time there are a mind boggling amount of players online. Funny for a game...

I usually have good luck with theses CDs, I just now copied all the files from the CD to desktop and they copied without a problem. CD drive D:\ shows up in the DOS command line, and shows all the files there and intact. The only thing that is a little strange is the isolinux.bin files is dated 10-2...
