Thanks for all the advice. I try to save any big files, like videos, either to a USB memory stick or the 'videos' folder on the hard drive away from pupsave as soon as possible. Downloads via the download manager can be assigned to a mounted USB memory stick straight away, of course, but (eg) You Tu...

Hi Big Pup, Thanks for your reply. I had the same thought and resized the personal storage to 1.7 GBytes. Typically, if I haven't downloaded any large item like a video there, it has about 900 MBytes free. Desoite this, yesterday I had the red 'you have only 3 MBytes left in RAM, reboot to flush..' ...

I'm probably a little late in contributing any thoughts on this but, if not, any observations on this problem would be appreciated. Since changing to Puppy 5.1.1 (the Ubuntu based one), I get messages in red telling me I have only one or two Megabytes left in RAM (out of 512) and to re-boot to flush...
