yes she knows i have her computer. and i mean she already left it for years and no one is using it. its a T2 IBM thinkpad which the installed os is windows 2000. i don't think she will be using it still.

but she forgot the password and it was password protected by Avaya.

How to boot CD in password protected computer?

I tried booting a live puppy CD but seem didn't boot to my sisters old laptop and probably because its password protected. Any suggestion so i can install new OS?

i do have the DebianDog-Jessie. i did try those without systemd on it but seem not working. i have no idea they differ a lot.

have to download the Porteus-Wheezy-3.13.6-openbox.iso with systemd boot enabled. this should work.

which of the /syslinux/syslinux.cfg and /syslinux/extlinux should i edit to add my windows during bootup? To be honest i'm not sure about that without testing. I don't use syslinux much. But you can add the menu entry in both to make sure it will appear. I have all these in the menu and tried them ...

in windows we can just add create a short cut of the skype exe file add "secondary/ to its path and your 2nd skype will work. i'm not sure how i can do it with puppy.

can i run multiple skype on puppy?

I can see there are tutorials on windows how to run multiple skype accounts and thought maybe it will also work with puppy. is this possible?

even when the mbr is on sda, it won't be mounted after saving the savefile on sdb. is this correct?

I'm careful not to mess windows because my wife uses this computer too and shes not use to puppy.

tried it but usb booting seem not helping even when i set my bios to boot thru usb.

if i install grub4dos on sda and the puppy in sdb, does it mean that the sda is mounted while using puppy?

boot Puppy from USB with Windows on the sda?

i have a windows 7 one my hard drive now i wanted to use my usb to boot puppy. I'm about to install grub4dos and will edit its menu.lst to boot my usb. is this a safe way that i won't be affecting windows 7 later?

which puppy works on ARM?

I now have a raspberry pi board and since i like puppy than their os, I'd like to install puppy on it. I've already read puppi which i believe is still an alpha upto now.

is there any other puppy derivative that works on ARM?
