Is there a dotpup to control the fan?
Is there a .pup out there that will control my fan spinning? Meaning, the fan only turns on when the computer gets hot? When I turn on my computer in puppy linux, the fan stays on all the time, and gets quite annoying. I need something that will turn it off when it's cool, and it turns on when it's ...

Would it be possable, using an emulator, and GRUB Bootloader, to make a emulator (such as QEMU) run on Windows, but access your puppy partition (such as /dev/hda3)?
(So you can use your PUPPY and WINDOWS at once.)

XFCE screen res error msg doesn't help
Whenever I try to use this desktop manager, my moniter gives me this error:
"Out of Freq. Range, please change screen res."
I do (decrease it) and it still gives me this error.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Why won't Puppy boot from my flashdrive?
Hey long time no see fellow puppians. I have decided to put Puppy Linux on a flashdrive, and it sucesseded, as fast as I can tell, but I do have one major problem. The flashdrive refuses to boot when I boot up my Computer! I checked the Bios to make sure that I had it set to "Boot Removable Sto...

Nope, that didn't seem to work. It used to do like this... http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/7161/sample1dg.png (Note: I don't actually have this software yet, I edited the picture around to what it WOULD look like) I know it exists, since I've done it before, but then I had to do a System Reovery ...

How to run Puppy in QEMU on Win XP?
Running QEMU, but make a workaround, where you can run WinXP, and then run puppy linux (that's on the hard-drive partition(3)) in qemu through Windows XP? Thus booting up your two opperating systems at once? I would assume this could be done by installing GRUB through qemu from puppy linux. Think an...

Any cool ICEWM themes available?
What cool Icewm themes are available? My Puppy is looking kind of dull.
I looked around the package manager, but really didn't find much.
What cool themes do you use for icewm?

How would I make this basic PuppyBasic script?
Ok, when you execute the program, I want it to come up with a text box similar to monkey. (With the arguments in the input box as "Start Web Server" and "Stop Web Server") When I hit StartWebServer, I want it to check and see if the server is already running, if it is, prompt in ...

Monkey WebServer- Need to install few extras.
How do I install php in the monkey webserver?
(Note; I tried that other webserver, just down below a few threads, and it was EXTREMELY confusing) I like Monkey becaues it just works.
All I need now is php support, and a MYSql database.

Having two backgrounds at once? With Rox2.3.
It seems Rox2.3 adds it's own background somehow, because whenever I run Aterm, it seems to want to choose the background that is set with the old "Set background" script. I set my new background by right-clicking and selecting Backdrops, and set it that way, how would I get the old type o...
