Creative Zen MP3 player not seen by any Puppy
Slacko puppy or Wary or any other Linux OS for that matter, does not see my Creative Zen "sleek" photo/mp3 player when I plug it in. I would really like to mount it like all the other mp3 players I have but for some reason this one isn't seen. I assume it has something to do with MTP suppo...

I can run and connect to WEP wireless encryption all day with no problems but I can't connect using WPA or WPA2 Why not?

So, is this the thread if you want/need support for Legacy OS4? I'm having a buggar of a time getting 4 mini to boot on any of my machines. Did I get a bad iso? I get the splash screen and then it goes to copy to ram etc then when done it gives kernel panic message and then I have to dirty shutdown ...

Icewm puppy?
Are there any derivatives that use the IceWM instead of Jwm? I have been trying Legacy OS2 but I find it difficult to configure and every time I re-boot my older laptop it looses the wireless connection and I have to re-configure it. Too bad its not based off of wary or it would be way easier to use...

Nevermind.....I found out what happened. I had downloaded the pwidgets earlier and didn't like them so I removed them...I guess when it was removed it took part of the Nathan wallpaper setter with it...Bug?? I dunno, I'd say so but hey....I simple just re-installed the pwidgets and the wallpaper set...

Lost the wallpaper setter in 5.2.5 Lucid
I don't know if it was something I did while messing around or what but I lost the ability to change the wallpapers using the Nathan wallpaper setter. When I click the Nathan wallpaper setter nothing happens. Is there a way to restore the lost function? I did add several of my own personal wallpaers...

The specs I find for the Lenovo R61i indicates that it is quite enough machine to run the latest Puppy. Did you try Lupu 5.25? http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/puppylinux/puppy-5.2.5/ I use 5.2.5 on the R61. Its an issue with the wireless wizard that I have. Actually 2.14x seems to...

Looks nice and I wish I could make better use of top7 but for some reason when I try to connect to the wireless and I click on the wireless button in the connection wizard the cpu goes to 100% and nothing comes up.
