Ubuntu forums suggest putting that command in grub, but my frugal install uses syslinux.cfg and I’m unc...

at one time switching kernels was more involved than maybe required now. http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=60180 Simple for some always seems to get messy for me ... I see the 5x13 kernel upgrades but none for 5x14, for some reason. I know we upgraded to 5x14 to solve a problem or tw...

Any chance of a 5x15 with the 3.x kernel? It seems such is necessary for a bunch of video-related hardware (e.g. Hauppauge, SiliconDust, etc) if one wants to use MythTV and other apps. edoc rereading guess you are not sure if new 3xkernnel is necessary. Is there a reason to prefer one over the othe...

I guess to justify having the runtime installed there needs to be some applications that use it, so I though I'd add some while I'm inspired to do so, have no idea if anyone wants them, but there are a number of nice apps that seem very useful. any way while the thread is not so busy I'll keep plod...

Richard, et al., don't know if this is useful to your 3rd experiment. when the new broadcom drivers first came out pemasu included brcmsmac with it's firmware and wl and firmware in one of his dpups. brcmsmac showed on wan0 and wl on eth0. i could connect using either by blacklisting the other. blac...
