I always thought that Puppy's "raison d'etre' in the first place was to continue support for older machines. I use a 32bit machine as my daily use machine and will be extremely unhappy to find that it can no longer access sites. I have been a computer programmer/consultant since 1967 and have s...

No, to answer your question.
Puppy IS a version of Linux.
It is different to the usual Linuxes, but that is why it is so good.
It does NOT try to take over your machine, but is happy to allow you to run Windows if you like and have Puppy live along side it- even sharing the kennels ( disk partitions).

I wouldn't touch Apple with a full hazard suit and a bargepole. I had one to work on once for a customer and there was little I could do to help. Even their software on other machines clogs the whole machine up with software and is pretty much impossible to remove since it puts hooks into nearly eve...

With lots of files the index can fill up and show this message.
Also there is very specific limit to the number of entries allowed in the index of the root directory which is not there if you use a sub directory.

I too haven't had gout for a long time, however - and i don't know if it is connected - I do get inflammation of the skin on that lower leg and foot which makes it very sensitive to heat. It only seems to last for a couple of hours.

Yes you can get self certificate as usual and then get a doctor's note.
The company will, as before, still be able to check up on you.

In the UK No to car parking. Maybe for electricity providing you can separate the usage on a different meter that is SOLE use for the office and is charged on different bill. Same applies to phone. Maybe for upkeep with the provisor as above. The best way to get round to keep one room specifically f...

Mark and Bill are also offsetting huge amounts of tax by doing it.
Now I am not saying that that is the reason, but it sure helps.

If you want to take them internally, feel free to follow Trump's suggestions.

I'd rather wait until there is something that doesn't kill the host as well.

I have not been lucky to avoid forced reboots because they are scheduled and notified.

It is not libellous to say it is their fault if they use reserved locations for personal files.

It is similar to complaining about getting your car towed if you park in a restricted area or next to a fire hydrant.
