In 4.12 you don't need the line added to rc.modules because that file is not in there anymore I think it's call modulesconfig or somthing like that.

you have to type ldconfig (it is the letter L not a number 1)

animalinstinct, The best thing to do when trying out a new program is to run it from a shell window that way you can see what files or libs might be missing. I downloaded pSX and also got the bios file and when I ran it it said I needed a lib that I didn't have libgtkglext-x11-1.0.so.0 so that told ...

I was going to try it out then I seen the download is over 300Megs, so I stopped the download, even on a high speed connection that's a lot to download for one game, so I can't help you with that one sorry.

akhmad_santoso that would be good for normal sfs files, but with the devx sfs if you don't use the cp -a -v --remove-destination options when copying the files all of the links may not setup right. Also by doing it your way it leaves a directory in the /mnt call +(whatever the name of the sfs file i...

Puppy will do just what you want, all you do is run the universal installer and pick IDE HD, install it to the HD, when the Grub option comes up you can either let grub do the work or if you already have a bootloader just add puppy to it. I have 4 HD's in my computer , the 1st HD has GRUB on it so I...
