Code: cp /initrd/pup_ro2/root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin restartwm This is a minor technical error. To restore an original file to the top layer of a frugal install, it is not necessary to copy it to top layer from the pup_ro2 (normally it is this layer) to the pup_...

Just go to /root/.jwmrc-tray, it’s hidden so hit the eye in toolbar of ROX Filer. With a text editor change to this. Changing to a 0 as shown.

.Pet fixes misbehaving menus in Lucid Puppy 5.2.5
Have you ever noticed that Lupu Puppy 5.2.5 does not behave correctly in the menus? The main menus breakdown into sub-menus with only one item in it. This is happening even when the configuration files are correct for the xdg menu manager, these control the main menu layout. We have found one soluti...

I only offered my way as an alternative because jamesbond was not sure it would work. If it works, let me know - I’ll explain why it works. If it doesn’t work - well, I don’t need to explain anything right? I have finally tested jamesbond’s way, it does work and is more technical, but, in the end I ...

Hi rcrsn51: When you reboot it’s back. Because it makes a new modprobe.conf back in /etc. WARNING: Deprecated config file /etc/modprobe.conf, all config files belong into /etc/modprobe.d/. PS: I am not using this modprobe.conf, so I just remove it with a remove line in rc.sysinit, which I know is no...
