Puppy for retail / small business
Hi People, I use puppy linux on our spare laptop at home. I think I have racy on an old aspire 3680. Anyway, I thought I would throw out out a suggestion to someone to make a puppy derivative for small business. I am starting up a small coffee stand, and I would love to be able to have something tai...

Thanks!
I'll try to install when I get home. I'm really surprised that it's not a standard pet.

Racy installed from thumbdrive boots without password
Hi everyone, I'm a puppy noob, so please bear with me: Using my thumbdrive copy racy, I installed a copy onto an old acer laptop. there still might be a problem
Well actually, I think the problem is that the sound card is showing up in alsaconf but not in the alsa mixer? Also, why is there multiple copies of the soundcard showing up in alsaconf?

xonar and 5.2
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and puppy linux. Is there still no support for xonar in puppy linux? I've yet to make the sound card work. In ALSA, it shows the card. Actually in ALSA it shows several copies of the same card?
Don

ASUS DX no sound
I'm using the newest Puppy Linux and ALSA 1.0.23 (I'm a puppy linux newbie btw). My ASUS DX card shows (as "oxygen") but when I select it and restart... nada. I can't pull up the sound mixer either. It's a-drivin-me-nuts. Any suggestions?
