Editing presets on Pup Telly and PupRadio
Can anyone provide instructions on how to do this? I like this feature and would like it even better if I could edit the presets. Thanks!

Works very well. Thanks!Sir Jasper wrote:Hi,
A portable version of DosBox can be downloaded from http://portablelinuxapps.org/ and placed anywhere.
Right click on the downloaded icon then click permissions then click Yes if necessary.
Let us know if it works. It does in Lucid Puppy.
My regards

A pet for libsdl-1.2.so.0 ? (Solved)
I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does a pet for this exist and, if not, would anyone be interested in making one?
Thanks.
Thanks.

A pet for Diamond Radeon 9250 drivers? (Solved)
they are rpm and I cant seem to get any unrpm utilities to work. I really need these drivers I think or this computer will have to be retired. Thanks. I made pets for these. I don't really think they worked, though. Perhaps the drivers are not the issue. Anyway, I guess I filled the request for myse...

Will try it asap
Will this pet allow me to set up the scanner? If so, is there a utility in Puppy that will help me do this? Scanners are installed separately from printers. Have you tried running Xsane from the Graphic menu? It may auto-detect your scanner. No I haven't tried that but I will do it just as soon as ...

A Pet for my Lexmark X1240 printer drivers/software [SOLVED]
I have spent a lot of time trying to install this printer but Puppy just isn't having any of it. I have the disk that came with the printer but it is useless with Linux. Could anyone, please, write a pet for it? Thanks.

Changing sound card in old computer. Will this one work?
I am running Puppy 5.1.1 on our old Dell Optiplex GX1. Despite all my best efforts, I can't get the sound configured to where it will work after I restart the computer. As things are now, we have to run ALSA upon startup if we want the sound to work. I think, for the sake of saving time, it might be...

This one --> http://www.openplatformeducation.org/gimp-2.6.3-i486.pet is one that I put together using some tested packages of Gimp (not gimp-photo) but with some frequently requested plugins and all of the dependencies - It is already in the installer menu on the web desktop looks promising though...

Lexmark 1240 Printer Drivers
I am running version 5.1.1 and I cannot get the above-mentioned printer installed. It seems there are drivers available for just about every printer but this one? Does anyone here know how to get the drivers, have some on line or know a Puppy fix for this? Thanks.

I resolved most of my issues with my previous post but I am still trying to fix the sound. I think I need to make a partition of the correct size and then learn what pupsave is and how to use it. Hi Emporata, I find to get the most out of Puppy you have to have several versions on board. If you have space on your hard drive use gparted to make separate 5.0 gig partitions and multi-boot using grub. One of the joys of linux is that it is much more hands on than windows. Regards Tony. I think ...
