Joe - what's the bootloader used by YUMI? If it's GRUB then you'll have to look at either menu.lst or grub.cfg Thanks Jamesbond. So since my post, I played around with it some more. YUMI uses syslinux.cfg (which is found in the 'Multiboot' folder created by YUMI). But I needed drill down further in...

Installing Fatdog64-630 with YUMI (Multiboot USB Creator)
Hello Gents, When I install Fatdog64 using YUMI , I no longer see the syslinux.cfg file where I add the 'append' path to my savefile. The result is a 'groundhog-day-like" boot-up, where I'm prompted to create a new savefile. Has anyone tried multi-booting Fatdog64 with YUMI or some other multi-...

That's a bug, when you quit or don't use the wpa_gui, the local loop-back is not setup. That will be fixed in the next release. I've attached a pet to fix that. I don't have any helpful ideas about the other problem. Thanks Kirk, it seemed to have done the trick! Since Xampp localhost comes up fine...

wpa_gui vs Network Wizard
Hello, I've been running Fatdog64-601 off my thumbdrive for about 1 week (still offloading stuff from my 521 build). I noticed that with wpa_gui, if I close out of my browser, the LAN connection drops off. When I open the browser it re-establishes the connection. It also seems that if I'm on a webpa...

Not able to create a savefile
Hello Gents, It's been a while since I've last visited the Fatdog forum. I've been using Fatdog64 521 and have been very happy with it. Was curious in trying 601. For test purposes, I've created a quick USB boot version of 601 using Unetbootin (live USB). For some reason, I can't get the OS to recog...

Moonlight plug-in for Fatdog's Aurora browser?
Hello gents, I've installed Wowza Media Server on Fatdog64. I am able to stream content from H.264 HW encoders to my intranet. My Windows-based laptops are able to view the streams using the MS Silverlight plug-in. I tried installing the Moonlight plug-in ( http://go-mono.com/moonlight/download.aspx...

Is it necessary in Puppy to load MP3 functionality? No, it's included. Jim1911, is correct. I uploaded a pet package for BibleTime-2.8.1, It has a couple of bug fixes patched in. It requires the qt4, clucene, and sword packages installed. Please note the the qt4 package requires a reboot. Jim and J...

Hi Joe, I've not been successful installing Bibletime to Fatdog. I don't know if there is a 64-bit version for you to try compiling. I recommend that you consider theWord, a Windows program which IMHO is the best free Bible software available. With Fatdog, I personally use Windows versions of Bible...

Hey Jim1911, Bibletime worked on my copy of Puppy 5.2.5. However I just bought a new laptop that did not like 5.2.5 or 5.2.8 for that matter (HW driver support issues). Long story short, I'm running Fatdog64 which works well with my new laptop. However when I install the Bibletime SFS or pet (tried ...
