In my experience, Palemoon is kept relatively small, but then I don't use history or bookmarks. BTW, Mike, the size of the portable Vivaldi is shocking!

That unfortunately gives me trouble at times, especially when I try to login to a site where they rely on external services in the login process. I usually keep them blocked anyway, and temporary modify the prefs at such occasions.

I do have an /etc/hosts with some 22.000 entries, so I feel relatively secure. I just react to the fact that a VPN service need all that kind of info gathered from cookies, when privacy is the main reason for choosing a VPN. And I totally agree with Semme; close and reopen your browser OFTEN ! Empty...

Another problem is that a dependency may also be used by another program that you actually want to keep...
I think the method I described is the closest you can get, to order in the ppm.

I use NordVPN, and I got an email from them the other day, with an updated terms of service, and a new privacy statement. There is a list of cookies. You shouldn't think that a very security oriented VPN service need a lot of cookies. They do. 37 cookies for the NordVPN service alone, plus 6 general...

MrAccident, I know excatly what you mean! Extremely annoying! I try to remember to only download - not install - those packages that I want to try, along with their deps, and then install them from the Downloads folder. If I test run such a package, and decide to remove it again, I use the ppm to re...

Hmmm, I have seen some of these smart calculators up through the years. This one is interesting, but it has a problem; who needs it? Most people that I have met during many math courses at the uni, find work like this very entertaining, especially when it comes to making hopelessly complicated equat...
