You can put the daemon in your startup folder so that it will start with puppy. Or make yourself a nice desktop icon.

EDIT: oh, it's Saluki, not puppy. but it should work either ways.

Hmmm, i feel that even windows start up and shut down faster then when hibernating.

But hibernation is great when you don't feel like closing your 100 tabs and programs only to start them again when you reboot a few hours later.

For the windows key, it should be mod4

i use libreoffice when dealing with .doc

I use geany alot! I change the colorscheme/theme to a darker one so its easier on my eyes.

The .xinitrc file in /root

Find the line with "xmodmap xxxx"

Then change xxxx to the path to that file.

If such a line doesnt exist, insert it at the back

When I am playing from the radio station, the time shows 59:59 on the playlist. So I listen to the radio for a long while just to see what happens after it passed the 1hour mark... ...and... it continue to play, so no problem there.
