@ nooby Your English is atrocious. You need a proof reader. @ puppyite: I strongly suspect that Nooby's command of English is far superior to your command of Swedish. Though direct and succinct, your comment and suggestion certainly aren't how Dale Carnegie influenced people. As for the future of P...

The original post in this thread was intended as a light hearted little joke and poke - nothing more. A few folks actually get it. Pity those who don't.

Dev Team exposed

You've seen their posts and avatars on this forum. Perhaps you've even caught one of them on IRC in #puppylinux. But have you ever seen a real photo of the movers and shakers behind Puppy Linux? Probably not. Well that's about to change. Consider your curiosity satiated, as here's a recent group pho...

Actually someone took some of the sugar coating off of puppy and put it on arch... That's hilarious. Thanks! I needed a laugh. BTW, if I'm not mistaken, your avatar, besides being annoying, violates forum guidelines. To wit: Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater tha...

Ya I bet your not using the latest firefox 4.0 on it either, or you must have one large swap file, Comparing arch to puppy on an old 233 really its only about 4 times the size of the series 2 you were using. Lets not sugar coat arch that much... First things first: it's "you're"; not &quo...

Another thought occurring to me is that, that 'enfant terrible' of the puppy world AlienJeff went over to Arch for pretty much the reasons you highlight - shame he didn't do it, as he was certainly a competent linuxer, if I recall, but he seemed to prefer insults, rudeness, and belittlement to cons...

I've been well, trapster - I trust you've been the same. Was ecstatic a few nights ago watching the Yankees' 26-million dollar a year blunder - Mr. A. Fraud - at bat in the bottom of the ninth with two outs. He choked HARD for the third out, which sent Texas to the series. As for the sig - no, it's ...

Go to http://murga-linux.com/alienjeff.html and then read the bottom line of the 404 page. Between Apache logs, grep, and a wee bit of precious time, the person responsible for the removal of the post could easily be identified and brought out into the light of day.

I think I did try to move the thread in question. So exactly where do you, ahem ... think you did try to move the thread in question? I may have moved it to the wrong place by mistake. Where? I certainly didn't delete it, or, as far as I can remember, any individual posts from it. Then where is it?

So here's where we are: those with privileges to evaporate that entire post would be: John, pizzasgood, Flash, and LobsterEd. John states "Removing posts without a trace is against the guidelines of the forum. (Except for spam) And as you know I am strongly against it..." Flash states &quo...

heavy handed moderation - again

It appears that one of the Keepers of Decency on this forum took it upon themself to completely delete the copy of #puppylinux channel chatter which shariebeth had posted. This section's moderators are Flash, JohnMurga, and Lobster. My experience with John Murga, though not always smooth, leads me t...
