Hi all bad news I'm afraid (well for lobster anyway) cannot get openshot 1.4 to compile. just took a couple of screenshots of slacko-5.29.5 to show what it can do, the first shows my toolbars unhidden so that you can see them (thanks DaveS for the howto and ttuuxx for the jwm theme) the second is on...

Hi all @soundNICK, glad you like the pet :lol: Lobster has given you some good advice there, I would also recommend this pet making how-to by technosaurus http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=35507 One of my biggest tools when compiling is a search engine as when (not if) I hit a problem...

(solved) How to open a partition from the command line?

Hi all

I am trying to use hard drive partitions placed on a toolbar, I can mount them using:

# mount -t auto /dev/sda3 /mnt/sda3

does anyone know how to open them into a window from the command line? without using Pmount?

I am using slacko 5.29.5 RC

cheers

hi all

@jim3630,

with my laptop I had to choose the analog option, then the internal speaker works, but not the earphone and mike jack plugs.

I know its not perfect (yet) but it is working, hope this is of some use to you
