Semme, I appreciate your suggestion for enabling WebGL in my browser. I went through the process for Firefox and unfortunately, my graphics chip is blacklisted. My computer is quite old and has very limited graphics capability. I can deal with h.264 up to 480p with VLC but anything higher locks it u...

Thank you Philh! I was unable to find the file using pFind. And there it is plain as day! Thank you Gustavo for the url to Radio Garden. My browser isn't WebGL capable so I'll have to make some adjustments to open the resource. It does look to be very interesting. Internet Radio is rather amazing!

I absolutely LOVE this app. I've been using it for several years to listen to Radio L Classic Country in Leichtenstein and a few other stations. I've made some errors and mis-entries in the Bookmarks List though and would like to edit that file if possible. Could anyone tell me where the file is loc...

What hit the Pentagon was most likely a Cruise Missile which was disguised (painted) to resemble a small airliner. Virtually all of the "eyewitness" accounts are scripted "plants" whose job was to create faux credibilty. Sadly, dumbed down Americans are easily deceived. Edit: The...

Two of my savefiles, one for Lupu and the other for Slacko, began filling up quickly so I mounted and examined the files to look for the problem. I found a hidden folder [root/.mozilla] and within it found root/.mozilla/firefox or root/.mozilla/seamonkey which both contained another folder called Cr...

I have a Canon LBP460 printer which I've been using for several years. It has proven to be very reliable and meets my rather modest needs. Because I haven't figured out how to make it work with Puppy I must use Win98 in order to print with it. A linux driver has been devoped for it and it is availab...

SeaMonkey 2.12 (Shinobar's sfs) gave me some additional info on the CUPS-PDF print problem. When attempting to print a web page as a test it reported that the pdf writer backend failed. Then when I attempted to close the print window the browser locked up. CTRL-ALT-BKSP responded normally and I was ...

I've been using SolidPup for quite some time now and it has been very good. Just today I noticed that CUPS-PDF isn't working. I don't often use it but it can be very handy for splitting large .pdf files into smaller portions. When I select "Print" for the file the print job window appears ...

Shinobar, thank you for your work with JRE and the various sfs files you've created!!! You've made the process of installing JAVA into Puppy incredibly easy and effective. I've just added it to SolidPup 5.1.1 and it passed the Test. Next I need to try and see if MineCraft will function in this envir...

Thanks linuxcbon for this simple and straight- forward procedure. I've done it on my most recently acquired older comuter which has XP and it works wonderfully. I am a great fan of Grub4Dos - I use it on all of my machines. The line which is added to boot.ini: C:\grldr="show grub menu" inc...

I'm surprised that nobody has suggested using ttuuxxx's Classic Pup 2.14X! I'm using it on an old Toshiba Satellite Pro (PII, 233 MHz, 158 MB RAM) and it is surprisingly snappy. Thankfully, there are several Pups that may work very well on the older hardware. I'm one of those who still uses old and ...

You've said it well and with considerable wisdom Aitch. Some are not yet able to come to terms with truth for various reasons but in a short time it will be very difficult for any to deny. Those who are uncomfortable now will be in extreme discomfort at that time. Waking up is so hard to do. With re...

As a consequence the save file it used was corrupted and rendered useless but still mountable from other puppies. I was able to extract everything I needed so it was just an inconvenience...
