Hi Fred,
the only thing that comes to my mind is my AMD Radeon R5 Graphics Card.
I will try to find out by "delete and error method", but that may take a while.
Thanks again. Great stuff.

Hi Fred, thanks for this one. After the great stretch-dog I was hoping for buster-dog. And here it is. I have only one suggestion. In the beginning boot always interrupted with the message can't connect to x-server but didn't know how to allocate it. It took me a while until I found that I had to co...

[solved] Feedback: Can't change brightness
OK it's done, but it took me nearly 1 hour to find out, that in fact two things were blocking the setting for backlight at the same time. One was the missing firmware. The other was that rc.local doesn't work during boot ( at least not by default). That took me a long time to find. So step by step f...

Works great!
Thank You Fred
in a few minutes a fully working distro was created, using debiandog jessie 64 with additonal debootstrap packge installed as the starting base.
That script is a real masterpiece.

pppoe
Is there a way to connect to the internet with pppoe using the new porteus- wheezy. I installed pppoe.deb with dpkg -i and did the usual pppoe-setup ( pppoe.conf I took from my lucid 528). But after pppoe-start I get a timeout after a while. Unfortunately I have no other way to connect to the intern...

:D @fredx181 Hi Fred, great stuff that you have constructed. I have tested it,and found it even faster than Porteus (my favorite in the moment). I think it can be the base for a very very good distro. IMHO I think it should also not be bloated by a lot of preinstalled applications. Keep it small and...

Mate for precise 5.4
Hi Jejy69,
that would also be my question. Any idea about precise 5.4 with lxde?
Currently I use lupu 528.05 with some makeshift older lxde version, but I found your mate puppy quite elegant. So I would be glad to upgrade.

I have the same problem. The slackware packages are read well and when starting with subito it stops at busybox. The roar-ng thing is in it's early stages and I hope later we'll get some more "howto" documentation. All in all very very interesting. My dream: a selftaylored distro for my ma...
