Actually, I discovered there was a problem with my syntax. Issuing yields a better result but then I am notified that rdesktop is not installed, so I may look into getting a PUP for it. Worth a try though.

I'm assuming you've installed Puppy to the hard drive. If so, you may want to have a look at /var/log/Xorg.0.log for any errors near the bottom. If you have any, try googling based on those and also checking these forums.
