Did you or did you not include the revised shutdown script in revision D? Yes, I did 8-bit. Please describe the partition that contains the pupsave. Is it on internal media or flash drive? What file system, ext 2,3,4, vfat or ntfs. Even though I use ext4 for my host part and ext3 for the pupsave, I...

Tazoc, Must say I am digging this pup. First time I have utilized all the various sfs files and it works brilliantly so far. Only issue was KDE and the missing library, but that was quickly fixed thanks to this thread. Just a couple of noob questions about LHpup. I saw earlier in the thread that it ...

Seamonkey 1.1.18??? If Quirky is an experimental version, why are we working with an old version of Seamonkey? So then, is Quirky gonna be like Debian Lenny (stable)? Wouldn't it be better, more progressive to work on integrating Seamonkey 2.x? I believe Barry has stated that the newest seamonkey i...

Maybe before the loading part begins you should try pressing F2 (just do it till a verbose menu appears). Then with your Puppy distro in your CD-device try writing one of the menu suggested. Think the right one is: puppy prefix=ram This will ignore all sessions from frugal install or whatever and f...

Can't boot from CD after frugal install - SOLVED
I have tested many pups from cd and usb. However, I finally did a frugal install of stardust. Now when I load a pup cd and try to boot from it, it starts loading but then always boots into startdust. For instance I am trying to boot from cd to the new Macpup opera. It loads the Macpup splash screen ...
