Wary - Easy Install Flashplayer Webpage

Hi, I'm using Wary and wondering if there is (+will be) a webpage hosting ongoing flashplayer updates (as .pets) like this one (for lucid) http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pet_packages-lucid/ and this (for slacko) http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pet_packages-slacko/ ...in fact; since the .p...

ok, I'm just posting back to say that I've reinstalled puppy (switched to wary) and I was carefull to add pmedia=atahd to grubs menu.lst (even though I'm not sure that that was the problem, it was just set to ataflash before)

everything's fine now, sorry if I was a bug

Seriously, just tell me where to look

#dmesg | tail tells me nothing, and I can see lots of xorg.configs in /etc

but I don't know about this .Xorgloaded file, and I really wanna get this thing sorted!

hmm, unfortunately I've checked all of those and can't see a problem (tbh I'm not sure 'exactly' what I was checking out there, but things there are just as you say they should be) @beem: it actually has more to do with the fact that I loaded puppy onto this machine through copying a Puppy folder ov...

to make videos resize in mplayer, you can use
#mplayer -zoom video.avi
or you can put zoom="1" in your ~/mplayer/config file

I'm going to use this puplet now, it's working great and looks cool!

Frugal install: how to get rid of xorg error message?

Hi, I've got a slight problem here with a frugal install of puppy 525. Every time I boot it I get an Xorg problem screen (you know, the one that you can just click enter to "ignore" and X starts fine) and I am wondering: Is there a way for me to stop this error message screen from appearin...

um, sickgut, why don't you talk to barry about this? (and then obviously talk to the leading lupu developers too) you've done alot of work slimming down debian-live, and if pussy-base could make a ~100mb "gui orientated" OS with all the perks of puppy I'm sure they'd love your input (altho...
