Hi runtt21,
do you plan on rebuilding a new Macpup to support the new Puppy Meerkat or at least Puppy Lucid?

I know it is a diferent distro, with e17 as a environment but anyway I had to ask? I like it very much, very well designed and working really nice.

Yeah, bigpup thanks and that's what I have been doing for now (at loading time just write the needed bootup command and *.sfs to load) but I thought a menu command or something Like Session Wizard could be nice idea. :) Hi, Flash ! No I am not using multisession DVD, I am using my HDD and sometimes ...

After first load and first reboot Puppy gives me the opportunity to save my session to a HDD, USB stick and so on but after second load and every next how could I tell Puppy to save another session, and later another (something like different .sfs states when I make some tweaks and in case I riun so...

Yes, the first is bulgarian (the cyrillic script) and Google has done really good job there although it is a simple sentance.

shinobar, thank you I'll see what can be translated by me. ;)

Do not have we here some good designers to make simple themes and icons that fit. No offence but most puppy derivate's elements (icons, themes, desktops) look unfitting to each other. :)

I am usung puppy as my linux distro for a long time but I had to say that crictic.

Where can I find 'the original' package in English to start translate it into Bulgarian? I cannot use russian (although it is simmilar in writing to bulgarian) or any other cyrillic language script. I can use the spanish also but I'd like the original english. Thanks in advance.

Well, I tested it and is very, very good puppy distro. One thing I would like is XFCE desktop environment. I used to use NOP distro 4.3.1 and find it very useful. Not a big deal but anyway. One question though! I saw that my Audio Mixer ALSA is full with channels. Is that your work or the new Puppy ...

Unfortunately I could make it even run. Gives me kernel stop message at load procedure. :(

PC system: Pentium IV 2.4GHz, 1,3GB RAM 333MHz, LG DVD-DL device, Gigabyte motherboard (old), nVidia 6200A 512MB shader 3.0.

Other puppies loading fine from the same RW-CD. :(

I tried at lest 5 or 6 suggested threads here but with no success. :( My Internet Provider told me that my IP is dynamic (fo ra first time in my life I use that type of IP)....

О, I have already set up that.
I loaded as a second layout the Bulgarian Phonetc as I usualy do.

It is not that the problem. It has something to do with UTF-8 UTF-16 or default ISO-8859-1 coding of symbols in XFCE and as a global setting in 'locale' file... wherever that may be.

Maybe before the loading part begins you should try pressing F2 (just do it till a verbose menu appears). Then with your Puppy distro in your CD-device try writing one of the menu suggested. Think the right one is: puppy prefix=ram This will ignore all sessions from frugal install or whatever and fo...

With Barry's Original Puppy I seem to not have these problems with the Cyrillic letters (fonts aren't any problem at all)... strange! Or maybe not so strange. :D I just got one issue with Cyrillic letters with Geany text editor in barry's Original Puppy: the name of the file (in Cyrillic) doesn't sh...
