Option One
@enhu
Option #1 the "Avidemux2 All-In-One" will do the thinking for you (the choice of Noobs everywhere!). Then it's just a matter of a or b.
@Patriot
Well done! Initial results have it working with no probs on my Inspiron B130 4.3.1 Full.

update_interval
Out of curiosity: Is there a general guideline as to how system resource consumption changes in proportion to changes in update_interval? For example would changing the update_interval from 1.0 to 4.0 see a reduction in conky resource consumption of A: 75% B: 50% C: that depends... or D: why do you ...

Startup Script
Hey folks-
There's probably a thread out there already (that the UberNoob cant find) that could answer this but...
Where is the script (or autoexec.bat equivalent) that launches stuff like freemem and blinky on startup?
@all Thanks again for your patience!

JWM Start button
Here is a replacement "Start" button for your JWM tray. To use it, edit ~/.jwmrc-tray and look for a line near the top that look like: <TrayButton label="Start" icon="mini-dog.xpm">root:3</TrayButton> and change it to read: <TrayButton icon="puppystart.png">ro...

JWM Corrupt Config
Just tried changing some JWM settings (specifically tray management) and got a NEW CONFIG CORRUPT. KEEPING ORIGINAL. All other JWM Config Manager settings work appropriately. I'm running 4.3.1 Full on a Dell Inspiron B130 and have no idea how I did this though a similar problem is mentioned here: ht...

Installing AddApp for ROX
I've started poking around ROX a bit and continue to be amazed at the rich variety of features it includes. One interesting ability is the whole ROX APP "thing". Unfortunately Puppy 4.3.1 ROX does not include the "AddApp" extension. It seems to require Python and other stuff to i...
