But now, when i make a modprobe -l i see, that the driver gspca.ko is in lib/modules/2.6.21.5/kernel/drivers/video AND in lib/modules/2.6.21.5/kernel/drivers/usb/media !! Maybe this is the right place. Make a copy and put it in. then restart an make modprobe gspc...

you are right,
delete all the files exept the gspca.ko driver. Put this driver into lib/modules/2.6.21.5/kernel/drivers/video. Then try modprobe, insmod . I got my webcam to work.

i compiled the gspca-driver for puppy 2.17. I have problems with installing it (insmod), but at least the driver works for my webcam. Try it. Vabene

Installing with the puppy-package-manager all pets work.

Hallo, i tried zu compile xskat-4.0 with puppy-2.13beta2 and devx_213.sfs (the new one). When i do "./configure" i got the error - Imake.tmpl: no such file or directory. I cannt find the directory /usr/X11R7/lib/X11/config. Is it missing or forgotten?

i had the same problem. The last step does not work. I cannt burn a cd nor make a iso. But when i go in the console to /tmp and make "sh new2cd.sh" i got the iso. vabene
