REiZO - use dd to zero an .iso file

Hi! I've found an intresting way of zeroing out "big files" (initrd.gz, vmlinuz, *pup*.sfs) in puppy .ISOs with dd, /dev/zero, and isocp . After compression the stripped iso can be shared with the ppl who only have frugal intstall and want to reinject those files into the zeroed-out iso, s...

I use Lucid Puppy 5.2 and it seems like noone understood what I wanted to say. Is there a way to turn /root/packages/appname.list's files to a .pet?

Installed apps to .pets?

Is there a way to turn an installed app (from another savefile) to pet or to copy specific programs to current savefile (from another one)?

If not I suggest development of such tool.

Lupu 5.20 /etc/init.d *SOLVED*

Since I moved to Lucid Puppy 5.20 from previous version, my dyndns.hu script doesn't want to work automagically, I have to run /etc/init.d/dyndns.hu restart (or simply start). Here's the script, but i don't think that's any problem with it... Of course I cut out the variables' value. #!/bin/sh USER=...

nginx webserver

Hi everyone! I'm entering the kennels with a tiny yet powerful HTTP server and mail proxy server written by Igor Sysoev, called nginx . More info on the apps' wiki . Note: I compiled this on puppy 4.30, with default options. If you need more extras: compile one yourself :) After installing you have ...
