ok i found a pet for splashy and manually configured it. it works pretty good. i would suggest that splashy is probably the system to use if others are looking for a splash screen for puppy. Yes! Hey tempestuous and jrb. could you please get together and compile the broadcom wl driver for puppy 4.2.1 and possibly post an .iso I would use the Puppy 4.3.1 iso jrb produced with tempestuous wl driver but it seems to have issues. 421 works a bit better on my system.

xscreensaver 5.07 is missing alot of screensavers. I got a couple of them out of PuppyBasicScreensaver02, but there are still alot of them missing. thanks rjbrewer. I found a different psx emulator that works for puppy 4.3.1. so I solved the issue without having to get someone to port psx , though i do like psx -- pcsx from puppy arcade works well enough. I will have to post the links to pcsx to games so that it can be found easier.
