the problem i have had with those instructions mate is this line

# tar -zxf puppy-unleashed-core-2.xx.tar.gz

it dose not work, it reports multiple errors and stuff to do with read-write change errors.

thanks for the responses but the problem is: once i have run xorgwizard and then nvidia-xconfig then the only way i can get back into a running X is doing xorgwizard there is no other way i have tried startx even xwin and also with adding icewm on the end of those two. i cannot get xorg to open once...

inside is a hand written readme file about my procedures and such better equipped to offer any more info you may need then this post.

I'm in the processes of testing, however it occurred that with the edit xorg.conf what about the xvidtune module the graphics driver installs. if there are no responses by the time i finish testing your methods pizza i will have a look into it myself and append it to my report archive. thanks, Nekroze

i did not know that with the chipset module but i will test that ASAP thanks but with the ndiswrapper i have tried downloading the drivers of this and alike cards and wrapped them but nothing... i think that may actually work its just i cant believe i have not thought of doing that... i guess im off...

Alright! Just posting to confirm that i have my Nvidia GTX295 finally working under puppy with your pets! i am not sure that it is using both of the GPU cores as the GTX295 is a dual core but i have no real way of testing that much performance under Linux do i. it seems odd that the glxgears fps see...
