@Schism

Yes, there is a solution for the audio. With gslapt try to install gstreamer and all the library needed for the sound, such as liboil etc.. Try and launch gcompris from a console and see evental errors to have a list of missing libraries.

@angarato

I put back the ISO on giovelug.org and further GCompris 8.4.2 package. Edupup website is still offline, I hope I can restore it soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Well Barry, I created some big .pet packages for wxWidget or for Lazarus for my Edupup 2.0 and it seems I cannot install it as pet packages. I mean, in Puppy 3.01, also if I have spaces in my pupsave file Puppy 3.01 complains that there is not enough space. I didn't checked if it is a bug or my prob...

No prob :-):
I'm happy it's working good. I'm waiting for 2.0 release to compile it again. Consider that I modified a bit the sources so you at startup don't have any warning about running it as root ;-).

Partimage 0.6.7 beta2

Hi all, on edupup.pieroni.biz (PuppyLinux downloads) and http://www.puppylinux.ca/edupup/packages/ you can download Partimage 0.6.7 beta2 which I compiled from sources. It needs a couple of libraries to run, such as slang and newt but with GSlapt is very easy to download them. For newt you have to c...

Thanks Lobster,

it is a really useful link. My future aims for this distro is to push also against education side. These are just some projects in my mind but, right now and if I don't have some work problems as I had, I hope I can make different versions of Edupup.

Thank you

It is still beta but it will work, even if it has minor issues to correct, such as menu voice etc.. which I can do sooner or later. Of course, it is Puppy based, in particular Puppy 3.01 based, and it is a 140 ...
