But that's exactly what you're doing. You've made it impossible to apply different coding style. Without those stupid comments it would be as simple as typing #indent -kr ppkg.c new-ppkg.c We would like to believe that for programmers and coding nothing is impossible. Finding the 'solution' is not ...

You have totally misunderstood my moans. It's not the technical aspect of your program that I can't understand, it's the source code itself. If it's for the coding style it shouldn't put you off participating the project. I have some good reasons to this kind of coding style which to explain would f...

I'd like to help, but the coding style of ppkg source code is like huge festering gutpile in a septic pond in hot summer. Way too much comments makes it really hard to understand and impossible to apply different style with GNU indent or any other tool of that kind. I can't stand its control flow ei...

smtp.c and autotrans.c (maybe others) <--they all still have references to functions that were in tcp_util.h Siddhesh will correct autotrans.c. SMTP is broken as mentioned in release notes. similar issue with the recent renaming in libmsn... msn-connection.c has a lingering function: This also will...

I replaced the earlier compile with a new one that does not disable the crash dialog - only about 10kb difference which could easily be recaptured if there were an option to have "builtin plugins" (simply linking in the static libraries does not work due to the way the plugins work - also...

I’m one of those people who can get excited about QC. I’m a detail oriented, perfectionist, SOB but I’m not about to waste my time reporting bugs or making thoughtful suggestions when they fall on deaf ears. My talents are too valuable to be squandered on such fruitless pursuits. If however I saw p...

seems like the equivalent of --enable-debug It isn't. That is something I would do if there proved to be a crashing issue Weird logic. If "there proved to be a crashing issue", then we already know about it and don't need more crash reports. Crash dialog is the most helpful when not expec...

Answer from Siddhesh: Once you join a chat room, there is a reconnect button on your chat room window. Click to push it in. The next time the server logs on, it will automatically join this new channel too. Another way is through the configuration file, if you want it for a lot of channels together;...

I saved your files muppywm, prandr-left and prandr-normal to /bin and did chmod +x on all of them. Closed X and typed xwin muppywm jwm . JWM's tray or whatever it is called, didn't show up and cursor remained to look like 'please wait,' but I was able to run rxvt from ROX's pinboard. After typing pr...

Will I be able to keep my windows after rotating screen with your script?

Sit Heel Speak, answer to your question is: /etc/X11/xorg.conf is not modified when I run xrandr -o left.

Thank you for your effort, disciple. It may be solution for some people, but unfortunately not for me, since it requires restarting X, which in my case means reopening over 50 windows.

Sit Heel Speak, I don't know but I will answer your question as soon as I find out.

forget about swapping rootWidth and rootHeight
Why? Since
I have managed to modify JWM's source to support 'rotated' resolution
I just need it to become an option, not hardcoded feature.

JWM and xrandr

Hi. I am owner of Samsung SyncMaster 740N monitor which is able to rotate its screen so I can use 1024x1280 resolution with xrandr -o left . However, JWM still thinks that it's 1280x1024 so the taskbar is too wide and placed too high. I have managed to modify JWM's source to support 'rotated' resolu...
