Been busy maggot, sorry. No, to answer your answer. Also track solo-ing causes terrible crackling as does switching between the mixer and the router tabs.

Been having a few other problems too - my destop went black the other evening and firepup is crashing all the time.

On a point of interest - There is no need to start Jack first if you are, like me, simply using "inboard" midi. Last night Reaper rendered 37 tracks of midi to audio (25 minutes long), via HyperCanvas with 3 plugin filters on it's own channel and IsotopeOzone on the master. The result is a...

Just thought I'd throw this up! I'll prolly get hammered for using Modern plugins, but hey they work for me! I was pushing it here, one more plugin
would have make it really crackly. This rendered fine though!

I tried to log in here last evening to tell you that I got midi working too, but the site threw me out and wouldn't let me log in again. Strange. Reaper->Options->Preferences->Midi Devices->Enable CAO106 Select CAO16 from the channel IO's then hook up a midi instrument from the FX tab. (Some global ...

Now to scrounge the money off my missus for a proper compatible soundcard with inputs! Did you say therer were issues with M-Audio? That...

Sure will.

I did it the hard way on Suse Linux last week, pretty hairy stuff - but I got it working!

Introduce myself

Greets all! I couldn't find an "introduce yourself" thread so I will post here! I found Puppy via Cocko's yesterday or the day before, one very slow iso torrent later, here I am. First impressions are...well the little fecker's gone and pee'd all down my leg -- in a Linux sense. I've been ...
