i had to update to the new PaleMoon build as I could hardly see the light grey font in the youtube search function. fixed now (black again)
btw the youtube downloader works great

We hope to have a usable fix by at least the 5.0.1 bugfix release. I am sorry this happened. For now you cna try this.
