BTW you might wanna upgrade the Flash if you plan on installing PupRescue frugally due to the zero day exploit that was just found on the version of Flash that PupRescue uses. thanks for the heads up - I wasn't aware of that exploit. I have a frugal installation with a pupsave (I created a multiboo...

downloaded your new 5.01 version. bear in mind that i booted into 1280x1024 in previous versions. inputted your code above but had to choose kb/locale/timezone before i got to the command line. Hi cifa, The 5.01 version should not require any of the pfix=nox and xorg-setup business. If you just boo...

We hope to have a usable fix by at least the 5.0.1 bugfix release. I am sorry this happened. For now you cna try this. When Lucid Puppy starts to boot, type in puppy pfix=nox I mistakenly said pfix=ram and then enter. This should boot to a prompt. At the prompt enter xorg-setup.old Does 'xorgwizard...

I am seeing that a few people (especially those who have the Intel driver problem I think) are booting directly to a black screen, with no opportunity to run xorgwizard and choose the alternate Intel driver. good to see we haven't been forgotten. this is a great release but suffers due to the Intel...

I will feedback any developments. spent good part of the day trying to get video going. in short - i didn't. gxine not working in 012 tried gnome-mplayer - and while that seem to install OK (a GUI appeared) - it was missing the libdirectfb-1.0.so.0 (console told me). anyway - didn't play the vid tr...

cifa, You have made the bug report. i hope someone else has an idea. I have been listening to gxine all day while I edited and built and rebuilt Lucid Puppy. It makes sense to me that you are right about the video card. I hope now that the video is in good shape that we can spend more time on this ...
