Thanks for the replies. I found the problem to be my reader does not read Micro SDHC cards. HC is for high capacity and can not be read by older readers. I borrowed a friends USB 35in1 card reader and got the pictures off my Micro SDHC camera card with no problem. My internal card reader is outdated...

I was wondering when you install a live cd or boot its iso, is that pretty much the same thing as running the live cd?? Alll the other HDs or visible but not mounted. I guess what I'm really trying to say is when your multibooting is the rest of your system the same as when you boot from a live cd?...
