Ok, I've restored the balance between my two shows by moving the extra SL files (shows 171, 175 & 176) to my Internet Archive space, so I could take back all that 'Patio' storage space.

Anyway, stay tuned.

Well, I uploaded the finished MP3 of the new show to LibSyn and dammit the same yips issue is continuing. So, I followed the procedure as last week, uploaded the show to 'The Patio's' host space, a little more :wink: :wink: with the xml file, and voila! They've got to figure this out... :P Podcast F...

Uh, not exactly. I just performed a little with the feed. If you download the MP3 file in the episode heading (the orange gif), you get the current file LibSyn is working on...

Just hope I don't have to do this again on Friday...

Ok, the support crew at LibSyn have picked up the case, asking me to try it again, so I did, about half an hour ago, but the MP3 file still got yipped after uploading. It actually changed size as well, actually got smaller by 30 to 50 K bytes. Weird. :roll: Anyway, let's see what they come up with. ...

So much for a freebie program that says the 'paid' version is exactly the same. I followed all the instructions, twice, and it still doesn't do more than bounce the stream back to me. It wouldn't even tell me where the re-encoded for stream file went.

Never mind.

This is only a test, attempting something like personal live casting, using Broadwave Streaming Audio Server and OpenDNS. Ok, it's half past midnight Sun. here in LA, so it's 5:30pm Sun. in Sydney and 3:30pm in Perth. So, for the next 90 minutes I'm gonna let this thing run in the background... Show...

Ok, I re-checked and re-converted the big final wav file of no. 175 into a yips-free mp3 file, re-uploaded and re-published the thing at LibSyn less than 15 min. ago, checked the streaming player and, dammit, got the same show full of little breaks :twisted: I filed a 'what the hell' support notice ...

One step back... I uploaded the new show early this morning, then was greeted by little hiccups when listening to it on the streaming player. The file itself has no damn hiccups on it. I checked my laptop's streaming capabilities, saw the same thing happening when looking at a YouTube video, checked...

Finally, after a long weekend and even longer week I'm back up and safely online. The laptop took a serious hit last Saturday night, got an infection that broke my browser, blew a gigantic hole in Windoze and was invaded by all manner of beasties.
