Upgraded without issue, and user settings remain 'set ' upon re-opening.

e2a: Was tempted to raise the GSettings error, but then a quick search reveals that you "refuse to compile against the gconf bloat!" - I'll get back to playing with my working 1.0.5 then

Thank you 01micko for this release: very 'em 'speedy'' :) ************************************************* I have a little issue with Mplayer (1.0.4) retaining the sound card preferences. I can resolve this by choosing the correct card each time I open the application, but thought I'd ask the quest...

Just a little quirk I found whilst testing some conversions from 'ogg' to 'mp3. Sylvander was advised by the manufacture of his TV, that the TV would 'know' when a file had been altered from its original format: Whilst attempting to play the converted mp3 file results in the TV switching off, and ba...

Found this thread whilst trying to hack together an Arduino IDE onto three headed dog - went well. As they both share the same kernel, I thought I'd try the installation in Slacko 531 using the same packages. I believe the order in which they are loaded is important: 1) binutils-avr_2.20-2_i386.deb ...

Just wondering if you found any solution to this yet. I can't find anything on the forums.<snip> I cannot offer you a fix re 525, and hopefully you have found a solution to your problem: Could I suggest looking at your hardwares web-sites for any flavour of linux drivers and see if your can ascerta...

Happy to confirm that the Slacko based SFS worked a like a charm. Not the perfect driver for my card (Nvidia ION) as GXLgears seems to sutter - no where as nice as it does with in FATDOG_64 with the 290.x drivers. Installed 285.x driver - Tried 'nvidia-installer --update' which fails with an error &...

Before 'attempting' to build my own - as suggested - I thought I'd ask if there is a newer version of the DevX_.sfs available other than the one posted on the first page? On an ...

Update: Looked into my shutdown problem, but because I had 'fiddled' prior to installing the bluetooth pets I couldn't be certain of where to begin debugging - hence I decided to start from a clean install. Happy to report that the bluetooth is working great and the shutdown et al works as expected....
