There was a need for a fast and full featured file search tool in Puppy, now we have it. I especially appreciate handling found files but right-click menu.

Que contient ta version lite par rapport à la version complète ? Pour ma part je suis surtout intéressé par les progrès annoncés de Impress (ce sont les imperfections d'Impress et sa compatibilité très médiocre avec le format ppt qui m'obligent encore à travailler sous Windows).

They don't vote for puppy because they have'nt try it. And Knoppix would have been a better choice than Ubuntu as a portable OS since you can withdraw the CD while using Knoppix (as with puppy)

Problem with petget

I tried to install firefox 3.0.3.pet and other pets and, after cliking on "install etc.", installation failed. After a lot of search, I found that it was because my pets was saved in folder with a space in its path. I fixed it by replacing petget (in /usr/sbin/) by a fixed one provided by ...

Petget problem

I have a problem with petget. When I click on a pet package I get the normal message : "Welcome ! you have chosen to install etc.", but when I click on "install package", nothing happens. If I do another install, I get an additional "warning : package already installed"...
