This looks like it'll do. I'll give it a try.

Need application to take pictures with built-in web cam
Does anyone know of an application to access the built-in webcam on my netbook?
I know there is an application called "cheese" that I used in a Mandriva install but it only worked in Gnome.
BTW, I am using an EeePc 900.
Puppy 4.3.1.
I have skype installed and webcam works with it.

wifi on Pupeee
I tried it several times. Always the same result. It does not see my wireless network. It sees a couple of my neighbors networks though.
I have even tried moving to different rooms in the house. Same result.
Same machine running XP has no trouble connecting, just SLOW.

Pupeee is so much faster and now it can see the network but it won't pull an IP. I have M$ machines and a MacBook that work on my wirel...

Sunbrnt, I am glad to hear that LANPuppy changes the rename convention. I know that tftp is required for booting but the client dumps it once the NBL is done. I have not been able to get LANPuppy to load from a pure PXE without the floppy you provide. I don't understand why you say tftp is a pain. I...

Wireless NIC
I am using Puppy 2.14. I tried the NDISWrapper. My home wireless network is "wide open" but I still can't get it to successfully load the driver and find the network. The driver doesn't "turn on" the NIC.
any suggestions?
NIC = BCMWL5
the wired NIC works just fine.

I have a working PXE network. I am using PXE Linux http://syslinux.zytor.com/pxe.php and when I start to load puppy PXE Linux calls VMLINUZ and INITRD.GZ and then I get an error, because it can not find the pup_save.2fs. Here is my default PXELinux config file: default localboot display display.msg ...

Network Wizard
I can not find how to remove NIC drivers that have been saved. I have even browsed around looking for a manual method. It looks like the only way to edit the network is with the wizard. is there no other interface? I can't find a config file to edit. I have been fighting with a BCMWL5 wirless card. ...
