On a default frugal install, would the lock-down procedure prevent users from saving browser bookmarks, word processing documents, etc., or are those things saved by default to /mnt/home or somewhere else outside of the pup_save file?

As I stated, 15MB is what it's using after a fresh boot, with nothing running except htop on the desktop. So Seamonkey and other apps will use more RAM.

I did a frugal install of Turbopup 4.2 Alpha 2 this morning, and then installed ttuuxxx's xsane 0.996 .pet. Wow! Turbopup runs great on that Pentium II -266 with only 160 MB of RAM.
