A pupsave on an internal HDD works faster than a pupsave on a Flash Drive . So I use a HDD pupsave in preference, but alter a config in a file on the ISO used to make the live CD... Knowing that most software, and os's,seem to work best with faster hdd spindle speeds. I believe that a machine utilizing Puppy, reaps little benefit, from high spindle speeds, after boot. Correct me if I am wrong, but, Running in RAM, seems to preclude the need for any hdd, so a slower speed drive ...
