no more audio

Something happens to my pc, anything with audio make trouble, big lag, flash on firefox, mp3 on hd even midifiles (i'm fond of)... Something like " some thing happens to my my my my my my " and so long. I think about a hardware failure because both classic pup (older ttuuxxxed puppy 2.14) ...

Running on live cd mode puppy do not add anything. 8)
You have to create a swap if necessary where you want and puppy will find it. :wink:

yes moving 'n' renaming the pupsave while running :shock: (nothing to fear got a backup anyway and it don't save until a 9999 min delay if my script run ok :wink: ).
But even, nothing happens when using anything added , as if my pupsave was already in ram :shock: in spite of what bruce explains :?:

but, when i move my pupsave on other direction and rename it, theorically it can't be used (IMHO) and nothing change when i use any added apps :?:

With the frugal install the pupsave file doesn't get copied to RAM, even if there is enough RAM Are you sure ? :shock: any pet i've installed in my pupsave run without any hd activity even if i delete the pupsave SO i thinked they ARE in ram :wink: other thing with frugal is how easy to repair any ...

frugal install run exactly like live cd (all in ram) but boot with hd instead of cd :wink:
so it boot faster 8)
try 'n'tell :wink:

you're right the only simple way to stoping music before ending is a gui 8) but a gui necessary pop up :shock: and don t play in backgroung :lol: :lol: so :arrow: test the ncurse gui ,reduce the "geometry coding" as you want, or do not use the command "-geometry 768x640" at all, ...
