Sorry, I thought I was being pretty straight foward. The question is, What is a good program that I can use to record from my video capture card? It is an EasyCap USB card.

Since I am living in the the 21st Century, I prefer to have something with a GUI. NO, I am not really looking to use VLC Player.

How to record from my video capture card?

I was wondering if someone could point me to a video capture program what would allow me to record from my video capture card. I got my capture card to work with VLC player but would be able to record with it.

Thanks.

maybe your download was corrupt. Check the checksum of xampp-linux-1.7_411.sfs: md5sum /mnt/home/xampp-linux-1.7_411.sfs you should get: 0666264565c1eff406e5540047b541fb xampp-linux-1.7_411.sfs If it is ok: stop xampp: lampp stop delete the folder /opt/lampp/var/mysql/ Then copy /initrd/pup_ro2/opt...

Re: pidgin

you can also use pidgin, which i like personally. Menu->Internet->pidgin ignore the stuff that comes up at first(just press enter), unless you want to use irc. Then when the main window loads up press Accounts->Manage Accounts Then delete the irc one that was automatically created when it started. ...

Try running it from command line e.g. ines "/path/to/rom/name of the rom.gz" It ran too fast on my system, so I configured command line options to slow it down. Also do you have opengl, DRI package installed? DRI package for puppy 4 It's the fastest NES emulator I've tried. Noticed that p...

Ah thanks man. Opera is in my menu now. I will try to mount it and see how that goes. I downloaded the binary package for Slackware and converted it to a pet file, but when I installed it, there was a bunch of missing library files and a missing menu item. It worked but it wasn't quite right. I am g...

A couple of questions about menu items and SFS files

I am new to linux so I desided that Puppy Linux looked like a good one to start with. I have Puppy Linux 4.1. I have been messing with it for about a week now and I have a couple of questions. My first question has to do with adding menu items. I downloaded Opera browser, installed it, and now I wou...

I am new to linux and this is the first NES emulator I have tried. It does seem to be a little slow, but I am only on a 500mHz computer. When I resize the window and make it a little smaller, it doesn't seem to be all that bad. I do get to play some of the ols NES games though.

Thanks man.
