I am using Pale Moon version 27.6.2SSE (the latest, I think). Actually, I am MOST interested in the Slacko version, but wish to download all of them, since you guys went to the trouble of creating them. Besides, I can't count how many laptops I've owned in my life, and have learned through experienc...

Thanks for your quick replies! Building the physical part of this gizmo is no challenge for me -- after I locate and accumulate the few parts required. In my early days of Puppy Linux, I had very little luck trying to run programs via WINE and shortly thereafter abandoned all efforts, so not a lot o...

How to run 1-op-amp-ECG Windows software in Puppy? SOLVED!
As an old (read:retired) guy who still serves as a part-time wilderness medic, this concept REALLY intrigues me -- it is a simple, portable, laptop-monitored, ECG (electrocardiograph) machine, built on Windows (open-source) software. https://www.swharden.com/wp/2016-08-08-diy-ecg-with-1-op-amp/ A cu...

How to download indexed web pages? (Solved)
Is there a program that will run in Lucid Puppy that will download this index page AND all of the content of the indexed links?

I would like to put all of this information on a thumb drive for my own use while off-line.
Thank you in advance...

Thanks to all! I followed bigpups's suggestion and it worked on my 1.5TB ext2 drive -- or at least it removed the offending directory. I haven't checked to see if it corrupted any other files/directories, but I'm betting they are fine. mikeb's suggestion would have probably worked, too -- but I'm no...

Unable to delete broken directory - SOLVED
I mistakenly disconnected or shut down an external hard drive prematurely (before the directory being written was finished) and ended up with a grey bordered yellow icon (! boldly centered in icon) that will not open, be renamed or deleted. "chmod -R 777 /mnt/sdc1/directoryname" returns &q...

Just a quick note from an older Pentium4 user (with the latest iso version).... Starting with a video directory that has a videoTS and audioTS subdirectory, selecting the actual videoTS file with Pdvdsrab (burn function) gives me an iso that has ONLY the videoTS directory on it (no audioTS). Disc wi...

Desktop Templates
I apologize for this question, but can somebody explain how to get the desktop "Lock" icon permanently moved from the top right screen corner?
I want to use Zigbert's Pwidgets for analog clock, calendar, etc., and can't get the Lock icon to stay out of the way.
Thanks in advance,
-Roy
