So far, this morning, I've had 1 email, from Freecycle admin asking for a donation.
Previously there were no emails from anyone.
Nothing from the Puppy forum.

Check your E-mail service provider settings and make sure it is not stopping stuff from the forum, because it is coming from a http and not a https site. I contacted my ISP [free] tech assistance. He says he has made changes so that any/all things which were not being accepted will now BE accepted....

Re: Problems posting on forum

Is the post still up? Do you have a link to it? My intended post was never posted, because all of the text disappeared from the composing window. The forum has a 'bug' where issues with the tags may cause the entire post to appear blank when previewed or submitted - say, for example, if you leave a...

He probably never hit the "Submit" button. I believe I hit the "Preview" button, then when I went back to the text it was gone. Hence there was nothing left to "Submit". Sylvander, do you connect via wifi, or via direct-to-Ethernet cable? (No reason to ask, just making...

1. @ Sylvander:- AFAIK, SlimJet & Firefox are definitely 'accepted' by banking sites. I would hazard a guess that your problem is you're using older, out-of-date versions of these..? a. Methinks you are correct in thinking this. b.Here's the problem/reason I haven't updated any to their latest v...

That user.js you create in your "/root/.moonchild productions/pale moon/*.default" profile folder. I have that folder, but there is no "user.js" file presently existing within the folder. Am I to make that file? If so, instructions on how? I've made files before, but at 73 years...

I'd need details of how to do the above using "User Agent" [where is it?] and tools to make the web browser lie. Best if I did this 1st within Slacko; in Banksy-3 it would be more difficult because it is necessary to remaster the changes into the ISO if I remember right, and then burn the ...

For years now, I've been using a 64-bit desktop, but it seemed to me back then that 32-bit Puppies worked [or suited me] better than 64-bit, so I made as my number-one=Slacko-5.7.0-pae. Now I'm in the situation where my "Banksy 3" web browsers are no longer being accepted by my banking sit...

A few years back we installed a new kitchen and bathroom. These included [chosen by wife and me]. 1. The bathroom sink has a tap that mixes mains-hot and storage-tank-cold [single outlet], with a single 3 inch tap-handle [smooth and sexy] that sits directly over the tap [for 50/50 mix]. You push it ...

1. Not if you are using portable web-browsers located on /mnt/home. They are constructed to have profiles within their own folder and cache files would, thus, be written immediately to the folder on Storage. But, yes if your web-browser runs from 'Puppy-Space', including /opt which is where just ins...

I have my number-1 Puppy = Slacko-5.7.0-pae, configured so that it doesn't auto-save any session changes during the session [unless I click "Save", and almost never do so]... And also, during shut-down/reboot, the default is "Don't save", and I almost always hit "Enter"...

That "golliwog" with the afro haircut was some guitar player named Eric Clapton  Yeh, well, I wasn't interested in their haircuts, and it's been many years since, and I'm now 72. It was the drumming in which I was interested, but I was no way good enough to copy/rival Ginger Baker. ...

We desperately need to be REDUCING the number of people living on this planet...

And yet we are increasing in number.
And I see no reports of any world leader doing anything about it.

Helicopter water-bombers would help douse such fires [towering infernos], yet no-one in power appears to even be considering this.
Hence, firemen presently don't have the tools for such jobs.

I had this idea during the Grenfell Tower fire.
