Ah, I see that the ChaletOS author has the same name but that's not me. And it's based on xubuntu! That would so not be my choice  This is the first time I've heard about this OS. smokey01, I don't think it would be perfect, but if you wanted a specific app that's simple enough I guess it can b...

Andreas Vollenweider - 1986 Down to the Moon [45:47] [full album] Andreas Vollenweider's Grammy-winning 1987 effort is dominated by the Swiss musician's electrically modified harp. Its distinctive sound runs throughout the album, supported by the usual tinkering synthesizer effects and light percus...

I'm definitely still around, I follow what's happening sometimes or log in occasionally, but not that active in development anymore. :) pet specs changed since then, not sure if it was correct even back then, the contents of the pet were more important to me. 11000 times? Wow. Proof that eve...

Hi musher0, I've tried the iso, here's some things I've found out so far. First, it booted directly to desktop with correct resolution, internet connected automatically and sound card is recognized. One thing it didn't work was my PS/2 mouse until I did the "modprobe psmouse" in terminal. ...

OK, so just noticing some bugs(or not?) that I remember from years ago, not sure if noone noticed them reported or it was decided to leave them like that. Changing locale reverts desktop icons/wallpaper (PuppyPin?) to original settings. This is noticed while in ram without savefile but IIRC that mig...

Hi Mick, I downloaded your last iso and applied delta update so I have a manual frugal install of 6.3.0.1 All hardware is recognized on boot on this machine so it all went well for the default boot. My specs are: Pentium G620 @ 2.6 Ghz x 2 H61M-P20 (G3) (MS-7788) motherboard Integrated intel HD grap...

I see this reply late, but yes, I would like the upgraded packages :) Or if you can do a remaster you're encouraged to up the version to next one with your updates. Not sure if you saw but there were some updates post-iso using delta files. Beep Media Player is successor to old Xmms player iirc, but...

Yes, mtpaint pet fixes scale issue, there were several updates after the iso which are applied via script/deltas, check first post for instructions. Good to see that you ran it with a different kernel. Sorry for not having more time to dedicate to some updates, though they would be some minor ones.

I don't remember that being an issue.

musher0, not sure about kernel also I never really compiled one, and any newer doesn't really work for my PC so I wouldn't be able to test it properly, that's why there are other puppies for newer stuff.

I might put up iso with all those deltas applied and maybe few more software upgrades. And try to fix jwm config :P
