Looking at the time posted of the one line replies (about one minute apart), I think it's safe to say it's either a bot, or more likely, a promoter changing the guest name after each entry. The grammer of the replies isn't wonderful either... I know, I'm a cynical bastard, it can't be helped :)

Sorry, should have made myself more clear. I was referring to the article by Richard Freeman: Winning the Linux Wars from the Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine Online that Paul Murphy referred to in the blog.

I agree with the blogger's sentiments of course :)

Interesting. The article referred to in the blog reads like a glossy, in-house thing. Written by microsoft for microsoft, self-serving congratulatory. Anyhow...

What is more interesting is reading the replies to the blog. Crazy, absolutely barmy :)

This is just my two cents worth, but.... Firstly, quickly looking through distrowatch, the vast majority of distributions have their name as part of the logo. I know that Puppy is unique, of course, but the casual viewer should be able to immediately associate the brand 'Puppy Linux' with the logo. ...

As to making a second conversion; she's interested, and I will hopefully be skilled enough in the usage of linux in general and puppy in particular by the time she returns to the Land Of Oz that I can convince her to embrace the penguin :lol:
